Inclusive Hair Salon

This hair salon was designed as a space where everyone feels welcome and safe; regardless of gender, age, or ability. The client’s vision was for a salon that looked and felt like an everyday, stylish destination while quietly accommodating the needs of a diverse clientele. We integrated gender-inclusive design to remove barriers, alongside dementia-friendly principles that support aging clients. Technical considerations were seamlessly interwoven with the salon’s aesthetic, ensuring the environment reads as inviting and contemporary while functioning as a truly inclusive space.
