Toongabbie reflects a shared vision to challenge the stigma often associated with aged care and transform the lived experience within it. We were fortunate to collaborate with a team that consistently pushes boundaries, creating environments and programs that meaningfully enhance the lives of residents and their loved ones. Our approach centred on crafting warm, domestic interiors that offer familiarity, dignity, and comfort while responding to the complex needs of ageing. Working with the architectural structure, we layered narrative and texture to create a space that is both supportive and intuitive; rich with meaning at every scale.
