Carseldine is Australia’s first 5 Star Green Star-rated aged care home, setting a new benchmark for sustainable, person-centred living. Grounded in principles of community, nature, and individual dignity, the interiors foster safe, socially connected environments tailored to personal needs. Residents are supported to remain active through connection to nature, creative pursuits, and shared rituals that bring joy and meaning to everyday life. We challenged the conventions of institutional aged care, embracing an expanded, individualised care model that de-institutionalises the built environment and redefines what residential aged care can be.
